Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) Raleigh, NC, United States | Shift: 1st shift What you will enjoy doing Deliver products to customers, making an average of 10-12 stops per day while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up. Complete hazardous material shipping orders paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance. Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs. Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization grow, plus other duties as assigned. What makes you great Have a high school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English. Have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or a recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or B CDL. Be 21 years or older. Currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire. Have no preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years. No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years. Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate. Be able to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
