Locum OB/GYN - Monroe, New York

Clinical Role

Specialty: OB (95% OB, 5% GYN)
Facility Type: Out-Patient Clinic

Hospital Bed Size: Community health centers
Patient Population: Teenagers & adults

Start & Contract

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Amount of coverage needed: Minimum 3 weeks per month (typically 4 weeks)

Shift Details

One 24-hour hospital call in 7 days (could be any day of the week) - in-house, not pager , provider must be present in the hospital
- Sleep room available next to L&D
- Support available: LPN, MA, receptionists, other doctors
Two 8-hour clinic days per week (Mon-Fri)

Support & Workflow

Support staff: 5 OB providers + midwife support
Practice Setting: Onsite ultrasound; deliveries performed at Good Samaritan; ~1500 deliveries per year
Patient load: ~14 patients per day, every 30 minutes

Skills & Procedures

Obstetrics & Gynecology
Deliveries, prenatal care, onsite ultrasound
Able to manage teen and adult patient populations

Licensure & Certification

Board Certification: BC only (BE not accepted)
State License: New York (Required, not willing to license)
DEA: Required

Requirements

Local providers only
Prior OB/GYN experience required
Ability to cover 24-hour hospital call and clinic days
