Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong banking domain background to define product vision, manage the product backlog, and drive the delivery of customer-focused banking solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and ensure successful product delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog based on business value and customer needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, Scrum Masters, and architects to deliver banking solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and manage epics, user stories, and product features using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Lead backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Work with banking teams on products related to retail banking, commercial banking, payments, lending, deposits, or digital banking.
• Ensure product features comply with applicable banking regulations, risk management policies, and security standards.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate deliverables, and ensure requirements are met before release.
• Monitor product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and incorporate stakeholder and customer feedback.
• Manage dependencies, resolve requirement-related issues, and communicate priorities and progress to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams to support successful product implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and financial services operations.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and product backlog management.
• Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating with business and technical teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital banking, payment processing, lending, deposits, or core banking platforms.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, KYC, AML, fraud prevention, and risk management.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data flows, and enterprise technology platforms.
• Experience with UAT, release planning, and production implementation.
• Relevant Agile or Product Owner certification, such as CSPO or PSPO.
