• An acute care facility that is designated as the only Level II Trauma Center for Contra Costa County and portions of Solano County.
• 554‑bed hospital with a 44‑bed Emergency Department with an annual volume of 65 000+.
• High acuity and a geriatric center of excellence.
• Sub‑specialty cases include cardiac and pediatrics.
• Epic EMR with Dragon dictation.
• John Muir Medical Center‑Walnut Creek Campus is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), is a STEMI receiving center, and an Accredited Stroke Center.
