Audit Manager Location: San Diego (Del Mar), CA Schedule: Full-Time (Flexible work schedules) Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000 + Employee Bonus Pool & Profit Sharing The Role We are seeking an Audit Manager to join our full-service CPA firm in Del Mar. Founded by partners with over 40 years of combined public accounting experience, we have dedicated ourselves to a model focused on superior, personalized professional service. As an Audit Manager, you will lead our assurance and financial reporting engagements, managing workflows from certified audited financial statements to internal control analyses, all while maintaining a collaborative and supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities Engagement Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and wrap-up of audited and reviewed financial statements, ensuring reporting requirements are met with minimal disruption to client operations. Specialized Audits: Lead benefit plan audits, internal control analyses, and agreed-upon procedures for a diverse portfolio of clients. Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary advisor to clients, delivering high-quality, tailored assurance services that go beyond the numbers to add real business value. Team Development & Mentorship: Supervise, train, and mentor a bright, motivated, and hard-working team of professionals, fostering their professional growth. Firm Collaboration: Work closely with founding partners to continuously improve audit methodologies and support the firm's non-traditional, team-first culture. Requirements Experience: Substantial progressive experience in public accounting assurance/audit, with a proven track record running engagements at a senior or manager level. Education: Active CPA license required. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and GAAS, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
