Scheduler - Call Center

Full-Time - This is a remote/work from home role, however the candidate must be within commuting distance of Thousand Palms California for meetings and trainings. Summary: Primary duties, answering phones in a professional and courteous manner without giving medical advice, scheduling appointments . Must be bi-lingual English and Spanish. This is a remote/work from home role, however the candidate must be within commuting distance of Thousand Palms California for meetings and trainings. Task: Answer telephone calls Return all voicemail and email messages in a professional manner using proper phone and email etiquette Take and relay messages Ability to understand and keep to instructions, whether oral or written Assist in other areas when needed Fax or email records Provide information to callers Transfer callers to correct destination Deal with queries from the customers Schedule appropriate appointments for exams, surgeries, medical procedures Effectively manage schedule and daily appointments Thoroughly enter client and patient information into computer system Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically Monitor and maintain office equipment Tidy and maintain the scheduling area Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience: High School diploma, some college preferred Knowledge of computers and relevant software application Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Must be friendly, outgoing, “people oriented.” Must be responsible for clocking in/out Dependable and timely attendance is required.
