Compensation: $230,000 - $300,000 + Meaningful Equity

The Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-funded, San Francisco-based AI startup building the next generation of wearable technology powered by multimodal AI.

The team is creating an AI-native wearable experience that combines voice, audio, and contextual intelligence to fundamentally change how humans interact with technology throughout the day.

Backed by leading investors and operating at seed stage, they're looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer to help shape both the product and engineering culture from the ground up.

This is a true 0→1 opportunity where you'll work directly with the founders to take ambitious ideas from concept to production.

What You'll Do

• Build core product experiences across frontend, backend, and AI systems
• Develop and ship voice-first user experiences
• Work on AI-powered features leveraging LLMs and audio intelligence
• Own products from ideation through deployment and iteration
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and founding leadership
• Help establish engineering best practices and technical direction
• Contribute to architecture decisions as the company scales

What They're Looking For

• 3–8 years of software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack development background
• Experience building and shipping products in startup environments
• Proven 0→1 product development experience
• Exposure to Voice AI, Speech AI, Audio AI, Conversational AI, or related domains
• Strong proficiency in modern web technologies and backend systems
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and high ownership
• Excited by the pace and intensity of early-stage startups

Bonus Points

• Experience with wearable devices or consumer hardware products
• LLM application development experience
• Real-time audio processing or speech systems experience
• Previous founding engineer or early startup experience
• Mobile development experience (iOS or Android)
