Quality Supervisor – Plant Floor

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Quality Supervisor to lead plant‑floor quality operations in our fast‑paced flexible packaging facility. This role is ideal for someone who loves being on the production floor, coaching teams, solving problems in real time, and ensuring every roll, pouch, and printed film meets customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily inspections, testing, and quality checks across printing, laminating, and converting
• Reinforce GMPs, quality standards, and proper documentation practices
• Drive root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow‑up verification
• Assist with internal, customer, and third‑party audits (SQF/BRC/GFSI)
• Validate COF, seal strength, color, registration, barrier properties, and other critical attributes
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Customer Service to resolve issues quickly
• Ensure accurate records, test results, and compliance logs

Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of quality experience in flexible packaging, printing/converting, or food‑contact manufacturing
• Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, SQF/BRC, and quality systems
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, test results, and technical documentation
• Experience supervising or leading QA or production personnel
• Comfortable working on the floor in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment
• Strong communication, follow‑through, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with flexographic printing or lamination
• Familiarity with color measurement, COF testing, and seal‑strength testing
• Prior experience in a GFSI‑certified facility
