Perform engineering design calculations including hydraulic calculations, infrastructure sizing, and pipe sizing. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as structural, electrical, mechanical, geotechnical, to integrate design elements into project deliverables. Assist in the development of project schedules, cost estimation, level of effort (LOE), and support permitting efforts and coordination with local, state and federal regulatory agencies for approvals. Review shop drawing submittals and respond to Contractor requests for information (RFIs) to comply with contract documents. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI #GTMRequirements:Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Preparing engineering plans and project management documents using AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera P6, PowerBI and MS Project; Applying engineering codes, standards, and regulatory requirements that govern municipal and industrial infrastructure design; Supporting both design and construction phase services including permitting and bidding for water/wastewater projects; and Interpreting sketches and drawings, and working on all phases of engineering document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer license.Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 25%.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.Individuals in the position may be paid a discretionary bonusInterested applicants should email their CV to View email address on click.appcast.io & specify “Civil Engineer” in the subject line.Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
