Billing Specialist

We are looking for a Full-Time Billing Representative for our highly skilled General Surgeons office in St. George, Utah. This position may transition to a remote role once you have completed training and are fully proficient in the position.Job Duties (include but are not limited to):-Answer and return calls to patients and insurance companies-Promptly and professionally assist patients-Claims resolution-A/R management-Prior authorizations-Collections-Payment posting and daily payment reconciliationPrerequisites:-Phone and in-person etiquette-Well organized individual-Ability to make proactive autonomous decisions-Ability to adapt, multi-task and support co-workers to ensure a cohesive environmentPreferences (preferred but not required):-Bilingual (English and Spanish)-Experience utilizing various software (ex: Excel, Word, Electronic Medical Records, etc)Hours: 40 hours per week.Monday - Friday: 8:30AM - 5:00PMFlexible hours.Benefits:-100% single premium employer paid health insurance-Employer funded HSA-100% single premium employer paid dental insurance-Full 401k benefits with profit sharing and employer match available-Optional vision insurance available-Lunch provided occasionally-12+ Paid holidaysMost importantly we are looking for a team member that aligns with our core values.Character -We hire for character and train for skill.
