Lead Medical Assistant - Naperville - Family Practice Full‑Time, 40 hours per week Office Hours: Monday: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Tuesday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Wednesday: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Thursday: 7:30 am – 7:00 pm Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Location: 1020 E Ogden Avenue, Naperville, IL 60563 Travel: As needed. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Site Physician(s) and Practice Manager, serve as a primary assistant to physicians and nurses, practicing high‑quality medical care through a range of patient‑care activities such as preparation for appointments, minor exams and procedures, laboratory and maintenance controls, patient documentation, and various office duties. Perform all duties included in the Medical Assistant job description. Inventory supplies and perform ordering. Assist with coordinating staff meetings. Supervise work performed by the department, delegate tasks, counsel, coach, and mediate conflict resolution. Assist with staff development, new‑employee orientation, and training; monitor and ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures. Assist with performance evaluations as required by Human Resources. Manage the schedule, time keeping, and payroll if necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program. Certified or Registered preferred, but not required. CPR certification required. Minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience, preferably in the medical field. Experience in staff roles with a history of good performance. Leadership skills. Multitasking and time‑management abilities. Teamwork and medical terminology proficiency. Ability to provide accurate and sufficient charting/messages. Effective listening, directional guidance, and professional communication. Flexibility to work full time and varying hours. Willingness to travel to all locations at any time. Capability to handle multiple positions within the department (e.g., phone, scheduling, rooming, procedures). Conveys a warm, caring, and approachable demeanor; displays unconditional respect, empathy, and a team‑player attitude. Ability to follow work rules and accept feedback. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $18.00–26.45 per hour based on certification, with the actual pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
