Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
- DPT
- Efficiency with HCHB electronic charting system
- Knowledge of disease processes and patient education
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Mileage reimbursement begins after the first patient to the last patient
- Coverage area includes Clay, Cleburne, Randolph, and Tallapoosa counties

Location Highlights
Ashland, Alabama offers access to Cheaha State Park, located about 20 miles away, and sits within driving distance of Talladega National Forest for hiking and scenic overlooks. The city is near downtown Lineville and approximately 80 miles from Birmingham, giving travelers access to local dining as well as a larger metro area for weekend trips. Lake Wedowee is about 30 miles away and provides boating and fishing, while the surrounding Clay County area offers a quieter rural setting with road access to eastern Alabama recreation. Cheaha Mountain, the highest point in Alabama, is nearby, and the area supports an outdoor-focused lifestyle with routes to parks, forest trails, and regional highways.
