Sterile Processing Technician

The role of the Sterile Processing Technician is to perform technical duties necessary for the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of supplies and equipment. This is done according to established hospital protocols, policies, procedures, and central sterile standards for all patient populations served. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and basic computer skills. The Sterile Processing Technician will also complete quarterly competencies.
