Core Responsibilities: Lead, train, and develop crew members to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations. Schedule tasks, manage performance, and support project progress tracking with management. Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and MSHA regulations. Operate heavy equipment safely in a high-production mining environment. Coordinate operations between maintenance, crews, and contractors. Conduct regular safety meetings and cross-train crew members on multiple equipment types. Communicate equipment issues promptly to the Maintenance Department. Maintain accurate daily production logs and utilize reporting software and electronic devices. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed. Qualifications: Required Minimum 3 years of experience in aggregate or mining operations. Ability to respond quickly to operational situations and prioritize tasks effectively. Trainable, ambitious, and committed to team development. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 programs. Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Preferred 1+ year of leadership experience in a mining environment. MSHA training. Performance Expectations: Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety in all tasks.
