Pride Health is hiring a Accessioner to support our client’s medical facility in Fishersville,VA. This is a 3+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Pay Rate: $17 - $18.50/hr. on W2. Shift: Mon - Fri 10am-6:30pm Duration: 3+ months *Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Job Responsibilities Process and handle laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples Receive, identify, and organize patient specimens for testing Enter and manage clinical information in the LIMS database Work closely with laboratory staff and other departments Ensure specimens and information are processed accurately and efficiently Receive and triage specimens for clinical testing Process and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis Maintain accurate patient and specimen information in LIMS Perform internal audits of clinical records Collaborate with different departments to ensure testing accuracy Follow laboratory procedures and quality standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Laboratory, specimen processing, phlebotomy, or production experience preferred Phlebotomy experience required Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
