• Conduct ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work in collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, swiftly addressing any malfunctions
• Ensure all procedures are accurately documented and patient records managed within the electronic medical records system
• Stay updated on advances in ultrasound imaging technologies and relevant best practices

Education and Training Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certification Requirements

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
