Engineering Technician

Responsibilities Responsible for standard technician duties when no one else is available. Maintain standardization charts on all tools within the characterization laboratory. Qualify new machinery and requalify tools that have been repaired. Actively monitor equipment’s health and plan preventive maintenance when needed. Generate operational documents such as standard procedures as needed. Correspond with outside vendors in a professional manner. Develop solutions that the laboratory might need for etching or polaron processes. Track chemical inventory and ensure it is ordered when necessary. Coordinate repairs on malfunctioning tools. Approve any changes to laboratory procedures. Operate System 28/G4 when no one else is available. Provide training for creating and collecting calibration data for adjustments and use in MQW calibration for growth. Record gas consumption every week. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Must be fluent in English. Cleanroom experience is preferred.
