Field Service Technician, Digital Jetfire

Field Service Technician, Digital Jetfire Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair on Heidelberg Digital products, including Gallus One and Labelfire equipment. Provide maintenance, training, and support in warranty, charge service, and service contract situations. Work with qualified riggers to install new or used equipment generated by sales, and assist with equipment moves upon customer request. Conduct inspections, complete required documentation, and attach photographs. Complete all paperwork promptly, including expenses, timesheets, escalation reports, online training courses, and car maintenance records. Qualifications Technical degree is a plus but not required. High School diploma or G.E.D. required. 5 to 10 years of field service experience or related work experience. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Strong customer‑relations personality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Moderate PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft apps). Ability to travel with overnight hotel stays approximately 50% to 75% of the time. Willingness to follow strict safety guidelines. Ability to pass background and drug screening. Clean driving record; company car supplied.
