Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

Location: Denver, CO

Unit Type: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

General Information

Our Cath Lab consists of a 3-room facility with a dedicated team of 10 full-time staff members. We operate with a commitment to excellence in patient care, providing essential cardiovascular interventions.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform coronary and peripheral angiograms and interventions.
• Assist in various device implants.
• Promote a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in electrophysiology procedures.
• Background in coronary and peripheral interventions.

Personality Fit

The ideal candidate should possess an easy-going demeanor, a willingness to take on call responsibilities, and exhibit flexibility in their role.

Unit Policies

The call team generally consists of 3 members, varying between 1 tech and 2 RNs or 2 RNs and 1 tech, based on staffing needs. The call burden is typically around 8-10 days per month. This is a specialized Cath Lab that does not include interventional radiology procedures.
