Oncology Nurse Practitioner Theranostics

Bethesda, MD & Glen Burnie, MD | $150,000 to $165,000 per year

A physician-founded, growing network of outpatient oncology clinics focused on precision oncology, theranostics, and radiopharmaceutical treatment is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner. This role offers close collaboration with Nuclear Medicine Physicians and physician founders, ongoing patient relationships throughout the treatment journey, and formal training in theranostics and radiopharmaceutical therapy. Prior radiopharmaceutical or theranostics experience is not required for candidates with a strong outpatient oncology background.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, outpatient, with no routine inpatient responsibilities.

Compensation

$150,000 to $165,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will independently assess and manage oncology patients in an outpatient setting, following them throughout their treatment journey and spending meaningful time with them and their families. You will review labs, imaging, treatment response, and treatment plans, and manage treatment-related symptoms and toxicities using strong clinical judgment. You will work closely with a specialized clinical team, including Nuclear Medicine Physicians and physician founders, receive training in theranostics and radiopharmaceutical therapy, and have the opportunity to help shape a growing clinical program as the organization expands. This position requires regularly working between the Bethesda and Glen Burnie, Maryland locations.

Required Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner credentials and Maryland licensure
• 5+ years of outpatient oncology NP experience, including strong solid-tumor oncology experience
• Experience independently assessing and managing oncology patients
• Experience managing treatment-related symptoms and toxicities
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent patient and family communication skills
• Ability to regularly work between the Bethesda and Glen Burnie, MD locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with radiopharmaceutical therapy or theranostics
• Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
