Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing general accounting functions, assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reconciliations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations while developing and implementing efficient financial procedures. Responsibilities Prepare and consolidate financial statements Perform monthly financial analysis to identify trends, variances, potential issues, and ensure GAAP compliance Manage journal entries and reconciliations Create, establish, and maintain internal controls and policies Standardize accounting procedures and policies across the entire company Coordinate and assist with annual audits Lead internal audit functions to ensure proper processes and controls in areas such as receiving, billing, collections, accounts payable, and inventory Qualifications Strong proficiency in General Ledger, Reconciliations, A/P & A/R Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Accounting At least 3+ years of relevant experience with general ledger accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr Octagon Professional Recruiting | Octagon Financial Consulting | Octagon Executive Search
