Collections Specialist

We are looking for a Collections Specialist to support receivables management and strengthen account resolution efforts for a long-term contract opportunity. This position focuses on communicating with customers, reviewing outstanding balances, and applying sound judgment to recover payments while maintaining positive relationships. The ideal candidate brings experience across consumer and commercial collections, along with a solid understanding of billing and credit practices.Responsibilities:• Contact customers regarding overdue balances and guide them through payment resolution in a timely and effective manner.• Review open accounts to evaluate collection status, payment patterns, and follow-up priorities.• Work with internal teams to investigate billing questions, clarify account details, and remove barriers to payment.• Maintain accurate records of collection activity, customer conversations, and account updates within tracking systems.• Support both commercial and consumer collection efforts while adapting communication style to the account type.• Monitor delinquent accounts and escalate complex or high-risk situations when additional review is needed.• Apply established collection procedures to improve cash recovery while preserving customer relationships.• Assist with credit-related collection matters by verifying account information and supporting resolution of outstanding receivables.
