As a Security Officer - Full Time Medical Campus Patrol in Escondido CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support staff patients and visitors with outstanding customer service and a fast-paced hospital environment you will bring agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity to every shift while helping put people first.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols while documenting observations incidents and/or policy-related issues.
• Support staff and visitors during routine operations and unexpected events by providing directions assistance and timely communication with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
