divh2Specialty Licensed Practical Nurse/h2pThe Specialty Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support a defined patient population program or service. Reports to Practice Manager/Supervisor and works in close cooperation with and under the clinical guidance of the practice physician(s)./ph3Essential Duties And Responsibilities/h3ulliDemonstrates excellence in nursing practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient and staff education./liliProvides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care./liliPerforms other duties and tasks as assigned./li/ulh3Licenses And/Or Certifications/h3ulliCurrent State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse./li/ulh3Minimum Education And Experience Requirements/h3ulliProfessional knowledge of nursing theory and practice./liliTechnical and professional knowledge and skills unique to the business and/or clinical services provided, usually acquired through 3-5 years progressive clinical experience in the related specialty preferred./liliPediatric experience preferred./liliCPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire./liliMust provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing./li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3ulliExpected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust, or extremes in temperatures.
