Job Overview A law firm seeks a Tax Associate for its Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in complex federal transactional tax matters and an active bar license or a commitment to obtain one. Duties Advise on business entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Provide guidance on state and local tax matters, including income, franchise, sales, and use tax. Collaborate with non‑profit and for‑profit clients on tax‑related issues. Requirements Minimum of four years of relevant tax experience preferred. Active bar license in the corresponding state or commitment to obtain one. Experience with complex federal transactional tax matters. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Active bar license required or commitment to obtain one. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
