Pay From: $21 Per Hour
MUST: The Medical Assistant -Receptionist should have the following 2 years of clinical experience. Experience rooming patients and obtaining vitals. Assisting with procedures and setting up sterile trays. Telephone triage and customer service experience. Experience scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, verifying insurance. Entering and updating patient information in EMR. Collecting and processing co-pays.
DUTIES: Duties include but will not be limited to the following: Room patient and obtain vitals. Answer phones and triage phone calls. Provide customer service. Check patient in and out. Set up sterile trays and clean and sanitize rooms. Take histories. Assist doctors with exams and procedures. Give injections. Take blood. Process lab specimens. Assist doctors with procedures. Enter patient histories into EMR System.
