Manager, Juniper Product Management

Role Description

This position is responsible for the strategic and tactical product management effort for Juniper Payments products and services. The incumbent will own the full product development lifecycle for existing and future Juniper Payments capabilities as well as any compliance-related requirements. The incumbent will serve as subject matter expert and liaison to internal and external customers on ACH, FedWire, Instant Payments, and other industry-related topics.

• Responsible for the suite of products and services Juniper provides to its clients, including strategy, market position, development initiatives, enhancements and changes, compliance and viability, commercialization, and P&L.
• Lead the analysis and review of product enhancement requests and oversee the creation of business requirements.
• Serve as an escalation point related to assigned products and applications.
• Collaborate with functional areas (e.g., Training, Operations, IT, Administration, and Finance) to develop comprehensive product definitions, objectives, and goals.
• Work closely with Velera’s departments in executing product strategies.
• Identify risks throughout feasibility studies and development processes, and communicate issues to leadership.
• Develop product documentation, procedures, and training in all pertinent platforms.
• Report and update product and solution performance information to the strategic product manager.
• Lead research efforts and analyze required modifications to existing products and services.
• Assist in coordinating and presenting seminars and training for various stakeholders.
• Conduct and lead meetings to support the development process.
• Attend and participate in Velera sponsored and industry events as needed.
• Serve as the primary liaison to Operational Support departments for assigned products.
• Maintain proficiency in departmental operations to assist as a backup for other products and services.
• Work as a member and/or leader of a cross-functional team for new and/or enhanced products and services.
• Oversee and review mandate and industry product impacts.
• Direct and oversee maintenance, mandate, industry requirement, or vendor replacement product commercialization duties.
• Maintain, lead, and respond to product-focused servicing ticket inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Combined ten (10) years of product management, technical product implementations, and/or business systems analysis supporting technical products experience required.
• Experience with the financial, credit union industry and core or account processing required.
