M&A Integration Manager (Pre-Close)

Department: Finance / Corporate Development Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Classification: Full-Time, Exempt Position Overview The M&A Integration Manager (Pre-Close) leads and coordinates all pre-closing integration activities for HoneyQuote acquisitions. This role serves as the central project manager, partnering with HR, IT, Finance, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and executive leadership to ensure due diligence, integration planning, and Day One readiness activities are completed prior to closing. Key Responsibilities Manage acquisition projects from LOI through closing. Coordinate cross‑functional due diligence and integration workstreams. Develop and maintain acquisition timelines and project plans. Lead Day One readiness planning across all departments. Track milestones, identify risks, and drive accountability. Facilitate acquisition meetings and provide executive status updates. Maintain standardized integration playbooks, checklists, and documentation. Recommend process improvements to support HoneyQuote's acquisition strategy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Project Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, consulting, mergers and acquisitions, or integration management. Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Experience managing multiple cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions. Experience in insurance, fintech, or private equity‑backed organizations. PMP certification or equivalent project management experience. Success Measures Acquisition milestones completed on schedule. Successful Day One readiness for all acquisitions. Timely completion of due diligence activities. Effective cross‑functional collaboration and executive communication.
