Marketing Operations & Analytics Lead (New York)

We are seeking a highly technical, data-driven Marketing Operations & Analytics Lead to serve as the core owner of our Salesforce ecosystem, with deep technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). In this pivotal role, you will architect our SFMC stack, design scalable multi-channel customer journeys, manage complex cross-cloud data integrations, and build executive-level dashboards for leadership and board reporting.

The ideal candidate bridges technical Salesforce execution with strategic marketing analytics, leveraging tools like Journey Builder, and AI workflows to drive operational excellence across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

SFMC Architecture & Automation : Serve as the hands-on subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Architect and optimize database structures (Data Extensions, Contact Builder), build complex automated workflows in Automation Studio, and design personalized journeys in Journey Builder.

Systems Integration & Data Flow : Connect marketing technologies into our central CRM environment. Manage multi-cloud integration via Marketing Cloud Connect, setting up seamless bi-directional data flow across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, web platforms, and third-party APIs.

Executive Analytics & Reporting : Design, build, and maintain unified reporting dashboards across Salesforce, Google Analytics, and marketing platforms. Partner directly with executive leadership (CEO, COO, VPs) to deliver cross-departmental insights and collaborate quarterly with the COO to prepare board-level performance decks.

Large-Scale Campaign Operations : Oversee database health, subscriber segmentation, dynamic content rendering, and deliverability performance across database lists reaching hundreds of thousands of contacts.

Process Optimization & AI Workflows : Evaluate end-to-end operational workflows, eliminate process bottlenecks, and actively implement emerging AI tools and automated agents to streamline lead routing, campaign delivery, and data collection.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align lead-to-revenue operations, streamline lifecycle stages, and ensure data integrity across all go-to-market channels.

Required Qualifications

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification : Active certification required (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, or Marketing Cloud Consultant).

Deep SFMC Technical Expertise : Proven hands-on track record building automation in Automation Studio, designing custom Data Extensions, and configuring Journey Builder.

Multi-Cloud Salesforce Operations : 3+ years of experience managing integrations between Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud using Marketing Cloud Connect.

Executive Data Visualization : Demonstrated experience building cross-departmental reports and executive dashboards in Salesforce (or CRM/BI platforms) for leadership teams and board members.

Web & Channel Analytics : Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4) and native CRM analytics to track user journeys, lead attribution, and web conversion metrics.

Campaign Scale : Proven ability to manage, segment, and run dynamic multi-channel campaigns targeting large-scale databases (hundreds of thousands of records).

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.

Experience with Marketing Cloud Intelligence or CRM Analytics.

Familiarity with SQL queries within SFMC Data Views for custom reporting and segmentation.

Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven automation or AI agents within marketing workflows.
