Mechanical Maintenance Lead

Mechanical Maintenance Lead Pay: $36-$38/hour We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance, repair, and installation activities in a fast‑paced industrial environment. This temporary position is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience supporting critical equipment reliability and maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities Lead daily mechanical maintenance, repair, and equipment installation activities Assign and coordinate work based on operational priorities and maintenance schedules Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, valves, bearings, hydraulic systems, and rotating equipment Perform and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs Support equipment overhauls, modifications, metal fabrication, and repairs Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, quality, and maintenance procedures Train, mentor, and support maintenance technicians Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, and documentation Collaborate with operations, engineering, vendors, and suppliers to complete projects efficiently Support emergency repairs, shutdowns, and outage activities as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred 10+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, valves, and mechanical assemblies Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals Experience with metal fabrication, equipment repair, and industrial tools Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed Employee Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pet Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Program Health Savings Account (HSA) Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance Apply today to join a team that values safety, reliability, leadership, and operational excellence.
