We are seeking a high-energy, organized Patient Care Coordinator to manage the front desk of our busy out-patient physical and occupational therapy clinic. In this role, you will be the face of our clinic, managing the patient from initial intake, insurance authorization, scheduling and the entire plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:

*Welcome and check-in of patients: Greet patients warmly , manage daily arrival schedules, collect co pays and track patient attendance to ensure compliance with therapy plans.

* Scheduling: Answer the phone to schedule new evaluations, coordinate weekly appointments and actively manage cancellations if needed.

*Intake and Insurance Coordination: Collect patient demographics, intake forms and therapy referrals. Verify physical and occupational benefits (deductibles, visit limits) and track authorization approvals.

*Administrative Support: Maintain electronic medical records (EMR), handle clinic correspondence and assist clinical staff with scanning, faxing and processing medical records.

Qualifications:

*High school diploma (required). Associative degree preferred.

*1+ years of medical reception or patient coordination experience, preferably in therapy or orthopaedic settings.

*Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, compassion for patients recovering from injuries and strong multitasking abilities.
