Job Description Veterans and Military Spouses belong at Oracle. This program sponsors an internship for transitioning veterans and active‑duty military spouses, providing hands‑on training and professional development. Interns work closely with corporate leadership, veteran coaches, and HR professionals. About the Program Interns engage in on‑the‑job training in fields such as information technology, technical systems consulting, technical support, facilities, finance, human resources, logistics, marketing, sales, or customer support, as available. Responsibilities Work in the Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence team supporting Federal Compliance and Federal Sales teams. Collaborate with the GDI Performance Management team to keep documentation, processes, and policies up to date. Support federal compliance initiatives. Design and develop processes and documentation for CMMC and related efforts. Maintain business relationships with stakeholders on information security requirements. Support additional GDI Performance Management initiatives in an ad‑hoc capacity. Collaborate with other Oracle One Federal teams. Required Skills & Experience Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security. Understanding of NIST SP 800‑53, NIST SP 800‑171, CMMC, DFARS (desired but not required). Thorough understanding of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols. Fundamental knowledge of security systems: firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti‑virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering. Ability to communicate security issues to peers, management, customers, and end‑users. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure. U.S. citizen with ability to obtain U.S. security clearance if needed. Desired Skills & Experience Knowledge of standards and requirements with application security. Experience in risk, information security and environmental management projects. Strong multi‑tasker with keen eye for detail. Organized and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Salary and Benefits Hourly wage: $30 per hour (40 hours per week). U.S. salary range: $18.17 to $34.62 per hour; $37,800 to $72,000 per annum.
