At etrailer, knowing a product means more than reading what's printed on the box. As a Product Specialist, you'll get hands-on with the products our neighbors use, learning how they work, where questions come up, and what someone really needs to know before making a decision.

You'll use that knowledge to answer real product questions, create helpful information for our website, and engage with neighbors who are looking for trusted guidance. You'll also become a resource for teammates across etrailer, sharing what you learn and helping make product knowledge more accessible to everyone.

Whether you're installing a product, testing how something works, researching an answer, or responding to a neighbor's question, you'll be encouraged to stay curious and keep learning. The goal isn't simply to know more about our products. It's to turn what you know into useful answers that make our neighbors' journeys easier.

What You Will Do

• Research and answer real product questions from neighbors, turning your expertise into clear, helpful information they can trust.
• Get hands-on with products through installs, demonstrations, testing, and everyday use to understand them from the neighbor's perspective.
• Engage in follow-up conversations, ask thoughtful questions, and help neighbors work through their specific product needs.
• Build expertise across our product categories and become a trusted resource for teammates who need product guidance.
• Look beyond the obvious answer, using research, hands-on experience, and internal expertise to solve product challenges.
• Share what you learn to help strengthen the quality and accessibility of product information across etrailer.
• Stay curious, try new things, share your knowledge, and have some fun becoming the product expert others turn to.

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

• You're naturally curious and genuinely enjoy figuring out how things work.
• You enjoy helping people and can turn technical or complicated information into answers that are easy to understand.
• You're comfortable getting hands-on, trying products yourself, and learning through experience rather than relying only on written information.
• You ask good questions, research what you don't know, and care about getting the answer right.
• You communicate naturally and enjoy sharing knowledge, whether you're helping a neighbor or another teammate.
• You're adaptable and comfortable moving between different products, questions, and priorities throughout the day.
• Experience with towing, trailers, RVs, automotive accessories, outdoor products, mechanical work, or another product-focused environment is helpful, but curiosity and a drive to become an expert matter just as much.

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for someone who loves becoming the person others ask, "Do you know how this works?" You don't need to walk through the door knowing everything about the thousands of products etrailer carries. You do need to enjoy learning, experimenting, researching, and sharing what you discover with others. If you're the kind of person who wants to understand why something works instead of simply memorizing the answer, you'll have plenty to dig into here.

You'll have the opportunity to build deep product expertise while using what you learn to help neighbors make confident decisions and help teammates across etrailer become more knowledgeable along the way.
