Job Summary St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Skilled Nursing unit located within the Edgewood, Kentucky hospital. Day shift, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm; Full‑time, 36 hours weekly. Job Description The licensed registered nurse is responsible for providing evidence‑based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process. This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, adhering to ethical and cultural standards, and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes. The RN delegates tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed team members, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all interactions. Qualifications Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; must hold a Compact (multi‑state) or state license in the primary state of residence and be licensed to practice in the state where work is performed. Meet contact‑hour requirements for licensure. Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies and competence in mathematical calculations for medication administration. Competent to perform safe nursing skills and procedures independently. Experience: Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation.
