Back Senior Accountant - AP Accounts Payable Beverly , Massachusetts Perm 70000 Sep 17, 2026 $70000.00 - $80000.00 Senior Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Beverly, MA - 1x per month onsite Compensation: $70-80k + discretionary bonus About the Opportunity A growing, private equity-backed healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong, high-volume AP experience who enjoys working in a multi-entity environment and contributing to process improvements. The organization is continuing to enhance and modernize its accounting operations, creating an opportunity for someone who can help improve processes, strengthen controls, and support a growing finance function. Key Responsibilities Manage high-volume accounts payable activities across multiple entities. Review, code, and process vendor invoices and ensure appropriate approvals and documentation. Prepare and process weekly payments, including ACH, wires, and checks. Review employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions for proper coding and documentation. Maintain and update vendor records while following appropriate internal controls. Reconcile vendor statements and research invoice, payment, and purchase order discrepancies. Assist with 1099 preparation and audit support. Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls, and system utilization. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounts payable or related accounting experience. Strong experience working in a high-volume AP environment . Experience supporting multiple entities or accounting systems preferred. Solid understanding of AP processes, GL coding, accruals, and internal controls. Experience with an ERP/accounting system such as NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, or similar platforms preferred. Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, filtering, and data analysis. Familiarity with 1099 reporting and vendor tax documentation. #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
