Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department Role And Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professionalism, accountability, and patient rights. Evaluate care effectiveness provided by team members, coordinate care across departments, and maintain confidentiality. Collaborate with physicians and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform duties aligned with organizational standards and mission. Key Duties Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI center. Participate in a 16-week Nurse Residency Program and pursue ongoing education and certifications. Work in a 63-bed unit with an RN-to-patient ratio of 3-4. Support departmental expansion efforts to enhance patient care facilities. Qualifications And Skills Education from an accredited nursing program and current Missouri RN license or equivalent. Must meet physical demands including lifting and standing for extended periods. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
