Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Shreveport, LALocated in Shreveport, LA – Dallas 3h; Little Rock 3hFull-time; EmployedSeeking BC/BE Overview: Join a physician-led pediatric inpatient team Seven-on, seven-off schedule Four-physician rotation model Day shifts consist of in-house floor management and admissions Night shifts are unrestricted call from home Q4 weekend unassigned newborn nursery coverage Additional paid nursery coverage opportunities available Manage inpatient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges Provide pediatric emergency department consultations Coordinate care with primary pediatricians and specialists Stabilize and prepare patients requiring transfer to intensive care Participate in pediatric resuscitation and rapid response events PALS and NRP certifications required--- Comp/Benefits: Competitive shift-based compensation wRVU productivity incentives for both day and night shifts Additional compensation for unassigned nursery call coverage Minimum of four paid nursery call days per month Comprehensive benefits package Stable employed position with physician-led support--- Group/Facility Info: Dedicated 24-bed pediatric inpatient unit Modern community health system Robust pediatric subspecialty support Collaborative physician-led environment Four-physician hospitalist rotation* Strong multidisciplinary support system-- About the Area:Shreveport is the largest city in northwest Louisiana and offers an affordable cost of living, family-friendly neighborhoods, and a growing healthcare community.
