Software Engineering Intern

Salary: $50,000 - 72,500 per year Requirements:

• We require candidates to be pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts & sciences, or a related discipline at an accredited university.
• Preferred technical experience includes one or more of the following: C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, Windows, .NET, Unix, Linux, SOA, RTOS, real-time controls, wireless, software security, robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, or embedded systems.

• We apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles to develop software for the target application.
• We collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and evaluate hardware/software interfaces, operational performance needs, and overall system design.
• We support every phase of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.
• We develop software test procedures, software applications, and supporting documentation.
• We use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experiments, and assess results.
• We participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and resolve defects.
• We work with a range of software languages across Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems.
