About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Santa Rosa, California, 93012!

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments using the full nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - tailored to each patient's age, culture, and condition
• Identify obvious and subtle patient problems, anticipate changes in condition, and report and resolve issues appropriately
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policy, accepted standards of age-specific care, and department standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers; participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences as needed
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately, and evaluate patient outcomes in partnership with the healthcare team

• Active California RN Licensure (must be verified via Nursys within the last 2 weeks)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NIHSS Certification
• MAB Training
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered at a local rate

• Experience providing age-specific care across a range of patient populations in an intensive care setting
• Demonstrated ability to assist others in implementing complex care and treatments
• Experience participating in multidisciplinary care conferences and patient/family advocacy
