Adira Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to provide engaging daily activities to our residents. As an integral part of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and creating a warm and welcoming environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and implementing quality activities for residents as a group or on an individual basis
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents and their families to enhance their overall experience
• Prepare activity calendars and update activity/orientation boards to keep our residents informed and engaged
• Assist with resident special events, outings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations
• Work with volunteers and actively seek new volunteers to expand our community involvement
• Encourage and motivate resident participation in activities and events
• Maintain accurate record keeping and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members
