Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough and compassionate evaluations of clients to understand their mental health concerns, arriving at clinical diagnoses, and formulating individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, and families, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other suitable approaches.

  • Offer immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress or emergencies, facilitating referral to additional care as necessary.

  • Ensure meticulous documentation of client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards regarding confidentiality.

  • Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, enhancing outcomes for clients through shared insights and effective communication.

  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available treatment options, advocating for resources and support systems that can aid in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, families, and couples, addressing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. You will be called upon to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their concerns and challenges.

Qualifications\n

  • Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.

  • Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities with a minimum of two years of relevant experience providing mental health services.

  • Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

  • Adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards of practice.

  • Previous experience in a clinical environment is preferred but not mandatory for candidates demonstrating strong foundational skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
