First Assist Surgical Technologist

Seeking experienced First Assist Surgical Technologists to support surgical teams in a hospital setting. Candidates will play a crucial role in assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and operating room efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by assembling instruments and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons directly during surgeries by providing instrumentation and support.
• Maintain sterile technique and uphold infection control standards throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient status and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
• Ensure proper documentation of surgical activities and equipment usage.

Qualifications:

• Hold current CST certification with prior experience as a First Assist in surgical settings.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant OR experience.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Capable of working effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
