SailPoint IIQ Workflow Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Developer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building and customizing SailPoint IIQ workflows, lifecycle events, rules, and connectors to ensure secure and seamless automated provisioning across hybrid and cloud ecosystems. In addition to core SailPoint development, you will leverage .NET and C# expertise to integrate, extend, and support custom identity services, legacy applications, and Microsoft-ecosystem endpoints.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

\n
• Design & Development: Architect, develop, configure, and maintain robust SailPoint IIQ platforms. Write and troubleshoot complex SailPoint rules, forms, and custom workflows using Java, BeanShell, and XML.
\n
• .NET & C# Integration: Design and implement custom .NET applications, microservices, or C# scripts to handle complex data parsing, API transformations, or to act as middleware bridging legacy Microsoft-based ecosystems with SailPoint.
\n
• Application Onboarding: Configure and manage out-of-the-box and custom SailPoint connectors to integrate with Active Directory, LDAP, JDBC, HR databases, REST APIs, and enterprise cloud applications.
\n
• Lifecycle Management: Develop and optimize automated Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle workflows, access provisioning, de-provisioning, and correlation logic.
\n
• Governance & Certifications: Set up and manage automated access requests, access reviews, role-based access controls (RBAC), and compliance certifications.
\n
• System Maintenance & Support: Perform platform upgrades, patches, scheduled tasks, and system aggregations. Act as Tier 3 support to troubleshoot provisioning failures, connector bugs, and .NET endpoint bottlenecks.

• Documentation: Create detailed technical design specifications, operational runbooks, and deployment guides to ensure replicable architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
\n
• SailPoint Expertise: Hands-on technical development experience specifically focused on SailPoint IdentityIQ.
\n
• Core Development Languages: Strong proficiency in Java, BeanShell, XML, and SQL, combined with solid development experience in C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core / .NET 6+) .
\n
• Integrations: Solid understanding of directory services (Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, LDAP), relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server), and modern web APIs (REST/SOAP).
\n
• IAM Concepts: Deep knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) standards, access governance, segregation of duties (SoD), and security controls.
\n
• Software Development Lifecycle: Familiarity with Agile practices, source control tools (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• Experience writing custom C# plugins, IIS extensions, or Windows services that interact directly with identity data.
\n
• SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer or Architect credentials.
\n
• Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC/IdentityNow) or migrating legacy IIQ environments to cloud-based IGA infrastructure.
\n
• Familiarity with broader cybersecurity frameworks and infrastructure platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
