Purchase Specialist

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to implement procurement strategies, coordinate the operational and tactical procurement of local goods and services, and support category strategy execution. The role involves maintaining supplier relationships, executing contracts, and ensuring optimized cost and performance in assigned product lines or regions. Key Responsibilities Build strong business relationships with local management to anticipate procurement needs and take appropriate action. Identify cost-saving opportunities in conjunction with operations. Ensure procurement policies and procedures are followed by end users. Conduct RFx processes in line with procurement policies. Track and report procurement performance using KPIs. Support local operations with goods and services agreements for equipment and parts. Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience). 5+ years of procurement experience, including category management, sourcing, or supply chain management. Experience in contract writing and strategic sourcing processes. Ability to understand technical aspects of products from a procurement perspective. SAP experience preferred. Additional Requirements Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). Employees required to wear respirators must be clean‑shaven where the seal meets the face.
