$95.00 to $130.00Carlsbad United StatesMeet Life Sciences is supporting a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) to join its Clinical Operations team on a contract basis.This individual will play a key role in the execution and oversight of late-phase oncology clinical trials, with a particular focus on solid tumor indications. The ideal candidate will bring strong sponsor-side clinical operations experience and a demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, global studies through execution, maintenance, and closeout.This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a hands-on clinical operations professional who can quickly integrate into an established study team and provide immediate support.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operational management of Phase II and Phase III oncology clinical trials, with a focus on solid tumors.Oversee study execution across global and/or U.S. clinical sites, ensuring timelines, milestones, quality, and budget expectations are met.Manage and provide oversight of CROs, central laboratories, imaging vendors, and other external service providers.Partner closely with Clinical Development, Medical Monitoring, Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, Safety, and other cross-functional stakeholders.Drive site activation, enrollment, study maintenance, database lock, and closeout activities as appropriate.Track study enrollment, site performance, monitoring activities, protocol deviations, risks, and key study metrics.Identify operational risks and proactively develop mitigation and escalation plans.Review and contribute to study documentation including protocols, informed consent forms, monitoring plans, study plans, and clinical study reports.Support vendor selection, contracting, budget management, and invoice review.Ensure studies are conducted in compliance with the protocol, ICH-GCP, applicable regulatory requirements, and company SOPs.Lead or participate in study team meetings and ensure clear communication of timelines, risks, and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or a related discipline required.Approximately 6+ years of clinical research/clinical operations experience, including meaningful experience managing studies at the CTM level.Strong experience supporting or leading Phase II and/or Phase III clinical trials.Oncology experience required, with direct solid tumor clinical trial experience strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience managing CROs, vendors, clinical sites, timelines, and study budgets.Experience working within a biotech or pharmaceutical sponsor environment strongly preferred.Global clinical trial experience is highly desirable.Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and clinical trial operational requirements.Ability to work independently and operate effectively within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and vendor-management skills.
