Equipment Operator - Cherry Picker

Adecco is hiring immediately for an experienced Heavy-Duty Forklift Operator . We are looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals with structural steel handling experience to join a growing team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Load structural steel onto trailers for customer deliveries
• Offload structural steel and other materials from incoming trailers
• Stage and organize received steel within the yard
• Load steel onto fabrication equipment
• Load and unload paint racks and sandblasting racks
• Operate a heavy-duty forklift safely and efficiently
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a 36,000 lb. forklift (Hyster, Yale, or similar equipment)
• Knowledge of proper loading techniques for various shapes and sizes of structural steel
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work under regular supervision
• Willingness to cross-train and learn additional production functions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver materials as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
