IT Plant Support Analyst

Microsoft Intune Overview We are seeking an IT Plant Support Analyst to provide hands‑on technical support in a manufacturing environment. This role will support both plant operations and office users, ensuring critical technology systems remain operational and employees receive timely technical assistance. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, technically strong, and comfortable working independently in both office and production environments. Key Responsibilities Provide deskside and remote technical support for end users Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, mobile device, and network-related issues Perform break/fix support for computers, phones, printers, and connected devices Manage support tickets, walk-up requests, and issue escalation as needed Support meeting and conference room technology, including video conferencing systems Assist with device imaging, deployment, and provisioning processes Support mobile device management initiatives Perform inventory tracking and asset management Conduct periodic audits of IT equipment and technology assets Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and technical services Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and support procedures Participate in testing and implementation of new technologies Required Skills & Experience Strong hardware and software troubleshooting experience Active Directory administration and user support Deskside support experience Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience supporting Windows devices in a business environment Technical support experience in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and projects Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Technical Skills Experience With The Following Technologies Is Highly Desired Active Directory SCCM Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) PC Imaging and Deployment Windows Operating Systems Hardware Break/Fix Printer Support Microsoft Office Applications Basic Networking TCP/IP IP Addressing VLANs Conference Room Technology Video Conferencing Systems Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of IT support experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment Experience supporting plant-floor technology Knowledge of service management and ticketing systems Experience managing IT inventory and hardware assets Familiarity with telephony systems Experience supporting mobile devices and remote users Work Environment Manufacturing and production environment Must be comfortable walking throughout production areas Ability to occasionally work on ladders or lifts for troubleshooting and installations High-visibility role supporting both end users and leadership teams Customer-facing position requiring professional communication and presentation skills Ideal Candidate Thrives in a hands‑on support environment Enjoys troubleshooting a wide variety of technical issues Works well independently with minimal supervision Adapts quickly to changing priorities Has strong organizational and time‑management skills Possesses a customer‑first mindset and strong communication skills What This Opportunity Offers Long‑term contract opportunity with extension potential Exposure to enterprise and manufacturing IT environments Opportunity to support a wide range of technologies High‑impact role supporting critical business operations Diverse daily responsibilities that combine technical troubleshooting, project work, and user support Collaborative team environment with opportunities for growth and skill development Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Richland Center, WI. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
