Job Title: Cardiovascular Scrub Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years current and previous experience in CVOR License: Active Compact or State License Certifications: AHA BLS, NCCT or AST required Must-Have: - Fresh Heart experience - On-call required, call will be 2 days per week and every other weekend Description: The Cardiovascular Scrub Tech will assist in surgical procedures as a vital member of the healthcare team. The role requires experience specifically in cardiovascular operating rooms, including fresh heart surgeries. The candidate must be willing to float within the scope of practice. Technical skills must include knowledge of various surgical procedures and equipment. The position entails adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Patient care will focus on adults and geriatric populations. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in managing surgical instruments and maintaining a sterile environment. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including on-call shifts and weekend work. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for successful operation within a team setting.
