Staff Nurse

OhioHealth is seeking a compassionate, skilled Staff Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Staff Nurse, you will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population across our not-for-profit network of hospitals and ambulatory sites. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, administering medications and treatments, and closely monitoring patient responses. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, social workers, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team, you will coordinate care transitions, support discharge planning, and advocate for patient needs to ensure high-quality outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. In this role, you will use critical thinking and clinical judgment to prioritize and manage multiple patients, respond to changes in condition, and elevate concerns promptly. You will accurately document all care provided in the electronic health record, maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols, and actively contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. You will educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatments, and self-care strategies, providing compassionate support that respects cultural, spiritual, and individual differences.
