Job Description
Title: Ambulatory Oncology RN - Hematology/Oncology

Schedule:
- Shift: 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday (variable start/end times)

Requirements:
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 2 years of ambulatory oncology RN experience
- Knowledge of chemotherapy
- Experience with hepatobiliary and surgical procedures

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy, including IM, subcutaneous, and continuous infusions
- Perform port and central line care, including troubleshooting
- Conduct telephone triage and post-operative assessments
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, IV teams, and social services

Compliance / Notes:
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
- Maximum of 2 weeks total Requested Time Off (RTO), no RTO within first 2 weeks of assignment
- Mandatory modules prior to orientation; first 17 hours billable for HealthStream
